1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Vetnician platform operated by Vetnician Life Sciences Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), accessible at vetnician.com. By registering, accessing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform.

2. About Vetnician

Vetnician is India's first unified animal health ecosystem providing:

• Veterinary medicine database with dosage information
• Verified veterinarian search and appointment booking
• Pharmacy geo-location and medicine availability search
• Pet insurance policy comparison
• A patented pharmacovigilance system for adverse drug event reporting (Indian Patent No. 561995)

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts
• Business accounts (vets, pharmacies, insurers) must provide valid professional credentials

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

4.1 Pet Owners

• You may search medicines, book vets, and compare insurance
• You must provide accurate pet health information
• You acknowledge that all medical decisions must be made by a licensed veterinarian

4.2 Veterinarians

• You must hold a valid VCI (Veterinary Council of India) registration
• You are responsible for all prescriptions and medical advice given through our platform
• You must maintain your professional credentials current and inform us of any changes
• Vetnician is a facilitating platform — you retain full professional liability for your services

4.3 Pharmacies

• You must hold a valid drug license issued by the appropriate authority
• You are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory information
• You must dispense medicines in accordance with Indian pharmaceutical law
• Schedule H and H1 medicines may only be dispensed against valid prescriptions

4.4 Blog Authors

• All content must be factually accurate and professionally written
• You retain copyright of your content but grant Vetnician a non-exclusive licence to publish
• Content that is misleading, promotional, or contrary to veterinary best practices will be removed

5. Intellectual Property

The following are the exclusive intellectual property of Vetnician Life Sciences Pvt Ltd:

• The Vetnician platform, website, and all software
• The pharmacovigilance monitoring and recording system protected under Indian Patent No. 561995
• The Vetnician brand name, logo, and trademarks
• All original content, databases, and data compilations on the platform

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission. Violation of Patent No. 561995 will be prosecuted under Indian patent law.

6. Prohibited Uses

You must not use Vetnician to:

• Submit false or fraudulent information including fake professional credentials
• Impersonate any person, veterinarian, or organisation
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from our platform
• Circumvent security measures or access other users' accounts
• Use the platform for illegal purposes under Indian law
• Dispense prescription medicines without valid prescriptions
• Submit false ADE reports or misuse the pharmacovigilance system
• Reproduce or reverse-engineer the patented system (Patent No. 561995)

7. Medical Disclaimer

8. Pharmacovigilance System (Patent No. 561995)

The ADE reporting and signal detection system on Vetnician is protected under Indian Patent No. 561995 — "System and Method for Veterinary Pharmacovigilance Monitoring and Recording". By submitting ADE reports you:

• Confirm the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• Consent to the use of de-identified data for pharmacovigilance purposes
• Acknowledge that data may be shared with CDSCO as required by law
• Grant Vetnician the right to process this data under the patented system

9. Third-Party Services

Our platform may contain links to third-party services including insurance providers, payment gateways, and mapping services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Vetnician shall not be liable for:

• Any medical outcomes resulting from information provided on our platform
• Actions or omissions of verified vets, pharmacies, or insurers
• Temporary unavailability of the platform
• Data loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Provide false professional credentials
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Misuse the pharmacovigilance system

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@vetnician.com.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Rajasthan, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
